Charles and Allison met at a dinner party thrown by a mutual friend. There was much talk of music as they are both musicians. Laughter was abound. The shy, yet charming Charles invited the outgoing and awkward Allison to brunch the following Sunday. They enjoyed each other's company so much, that after brunch they went for coffee to talk some more. Allison then invited Charles to join her for an afternoon at Powell's books. There they discussed philosophy and started a book club together.

The next weekend Allison helped Charles move and met his cousin. A few weeks later Charles joined Allison, as well as her mom and sister for dinner. Before long, Charles had asked Allison to move in with him. Then they began an adventure: traveling to London to meet Charles mom, Seattle to meet his dad, and California to meet Allison's dad and step-mom.

After they met each other's family, Allison began graduate school with the love and support of Charles. They bought a condo in downtown Portland. Got engaged. Charles changed positions and began working for Premise Data. More traveling. More schooling. They sold their condo and bought their first home. Allison graduated from graduate school and started working full-time as a child therapist.

The two are truly blessed and looking forward to their big day.
