Hi Everyone!

First of all, we'd like to say that your presence at the celebration of our marriage is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to share this happy occasion with you.

A few days after the wedding we will be heading to St. Lucia for 10 days where we’re looking forward to some much needed rest and then a ton of more fun. We plan to do some zip lining, volcano hiking, and learning how sugar turns to rum (most important). We hope you find this registry as a way to help us make our perfect honeymoon come true! While Nick and I have taken many awesome trips together (Montreal being a personal favorite), we are very much looking forward to our first real adventure as husband and wife. We greatly appreciate and will fondly remember these gifts for years to come.

We'll do our best to document our honeymoon and include some fantastic photos in your much-deserved thank you note. Thanks again and we can't wait to see you at the wedding (or earlier!).

Pitons Hike

The majestic peak of Gros Piton, along with its twin peak Petit Piton, dominates the western coast of St Lucia. We will head up the misty mountainside with a guide through the jungle and view St. Lucia from the top. Afterwards we'll stop for a local lunch and go for a refreshing swim in the Caribbean Sea.

Dolphin & Whale Watching Experience

We will step aboard and experience the magical splendor of a unique Dolphin and Whale Watching Experience. We will travel two miles out to the 3,000 feet deep ledge and follow this route down the west coast to Soufriere where the most spectacular sightings have occurred, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. On the trek back, we will motor to the breathtaking Marigot Bay for a photo op before returning to the cove.

Our guided historical tour begins on land through banana plantations, Marigot Bay and the fishing village of Anse La Raye. On arrival to Soufriere, we will take in the spectacular view of the majestic Pitons. Next, a stop at the Sulphur Springs will take us through the lush Botanical Gardens and on to the picturesque Diamond Waterfall. We will indulge in a scrumptious local lunch and then it will be time for us to head out to sea on a catamaran for snorkeling and a stop at Marigot Bay - where the films Dr. Doolittle and Superman II were filmed - for a one-of-a-kind photo op.

Soufriere Jeep Discovery & Waterfall Revelation

The Soufriere Jeep Discovery & Waterfall Revelation will take us on a scenic journey through Saint Lucia's banana plantations, fishing villages, rainforest and lush tropical vegetation. Our guides will share the local history and stories about significant sites along the way to Soufriere, home to the majestic Pitons. The first stop is Morne Coubaril, a 250-acre working plantation where we'll learn about 18th century plantation life. As we travel along an original mule carriage pathway and through reconstructed slave quarters there will be demonstrations of plantation farming practices including copra, cocoa and manioc production. From there we will continue to the sparkling Diamond Waterfall and the Sulphur Springs where we can immerse in the rich mineral water of the mud baths heated by the volcano itself and feel rejuvenated. Our final stop in Soufriere before the return trip will be for a delicious lunch prepared with fresh local ingredients at a locale tucked away in lush tropical greenery and island exotica.

Sugar to Rum Revelation

Our journey takes us first to the expansive Roseau Valley once cultivated for sugar cane but now Saint Lucia's largest banana plantation, and then to the restored Sugar Mill at La Sikwi in the quaint fishing village of Anse la Raye. We'll visit a museum and learn the history of sugar in the West Indies. Then it's time to sample an array of locally produced rums and liquors at a distillery. On our return trip we will stop at the picturesque Marigot Bay for a once in a lifetime photo opportunity.
