My family had planned our first big trip away together (it was a gift to my mother (Mother’s Day gift) and father (Father’s Day gift)) to Sanibel Island, FL.  

On the 2nd night of the trip, we had decided to go out to dinner alone.   We went to Naples for dinner (I picked the place only a few hours earlier, so I had no idea anything was in the works).  He wanted to go to another location (Ritz in Naples) to watch the sunset; in retrospect, he was rushing through dinner!

We were taken to a table when we arrived and made it in time to join the other sunset seekers.  

When we arrived back to our table, there was champagne with strawberries waiting for us; shortly after a young woman arrived with a beautiful plate of desserts and written in chocolate were the words:  ‘Will You Marry Me?’
