Bride

I still remember the first time that we met.  It was Saturday, June 20, 2009.  I went to a comedy show at The Spotlite Cafe in Scarsdale, NY with Deborah and Mikey.  While John was up doing his act, he did a bit about large-breasted women.  Deborah proceeded to point over my head.  John came off the stage and did a little "bit" and then went on with the show.  After the show, I went up to the end of the bar to get a drink.  John was sitting there.  He smiled, I smiled back and he offered to buy me a drink.  I accepted his offer and we found ourselves talking and laughing.  He asked for my number, but didn't believe that I gave him the right number.  He also kept checking his wallet to make sure my number was in there.  When it was time to head home, he asked me for a kiss.  I reluctantly gave him a peck.  He had the BIGGEST smile on his face. That day was the beginning of something special!

Groom

After meeting at a comedy show and starting to hit it off, Roz really impressed me by wanting to wait until the show was over to talk so as not to interrupt Don Jamieson, who was closing the show.  Most girls would be babbling like a brook through the whole show.  So I actually proposed to her on stage a year and a half later at the same place where we met, The Spotlite Cafe.  Sometimes you think you're just never going to meet THE ONE, but I'm glad I waited and I thank God I met her.
