We can still remember the first time we met. It seems kind of strange saying it was 10 years ago. Little did we know that first encounter in Chem 180 at Eau Claire would eventually lead to a marriage down the road. It seems like our story would have ended back in 2005 when Nick and I were graduating and he asked me out, only to have me respond to him with, "Ummmm......I don't think so." I can only say that I am thankful every day that Nick didn't give up there and when we had a chance to meet 4 years later at my birthday party....he gave it another shot! This time when he asked me out....I couldn't wait to say "yes!" Everything after that just seemed to click and we had so much in common. Our first date seemed like we knew each other so well, and could't believe that we were never not together. We l loved spending time together and could tell that this was "just right." I think our family and friends seemed to noticed that our steps were a little lighter and that we couldn't stop smiling. After only 6 months of dating, Nick proposed in Mexico where we were on trip with his family. The rest has been history! |
Our ceremony will be timeless and elegant, a real life fairytale wedding. It is only a matter of time until I take those first steps down the aisle in my wedding dress to become Mrs. Nicholas Sandell! It only seems right that we be married at Nick's church, King of Kings in Woodbury by his Pastor of many years. We can't wait to share this special moment will all of you! |
